Disclosure: This post was sponsored MyYogaWorks as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. All opinions expressed in my post are my own. In this post I’m sharing a yoga self-care deal you won’t want to miss!
I don’t know about you, but lately my daily “to-do” list has been longer than Santa’s naughty list. (And after this crazy year, you know that the big guy is going to be giving out a whole lot of coal!) Every week as I plan out my schedule, I also figure out how to fit in my cardiovascular exercise and yoga self-care. I’ve realized that getting dressed in cute workout clothes, driving to-and-from to the gym, putting my stuff in the locker, and positioning myself at my preferred spot in a class or on a piece of equipment can take up an extra 45 minutes of my day. Though I sure do want to get that class in, there are so many days when those 45 could be put to much better use.
Time is the one thing we can never get back, so it’s important to use our time wisely. Yet self-care is vitally important for my health (and my sanity), so it cannot be pushed aside. It can, however, be done more efficiently.
This is why I’ve been trying out ways to get in more activity at home. Since we had a mild and dry autumn in the Northeast, I was able to do much of my cardio work outside. I just put on my running shoes and went.
Though it takes more than just cardio. Yoga is the one area where I’ve found that I can break a sweat, tone my muscles, and finish my workout feeling less stressed about the rest of my day to follow. The yoga studios near my home are all very expensive, so I’ve wanted to try practicing from home. Plus, if I’m at home I don’t have to insecure because the lady next to me is like a human rubber band, worry whether my yoga pants are inadvertently see-through, or be annoyed that the person behind me is breathing like Darth Vader. At home I can just practice.
That’s why I was grateful to have the opportunity to try MyYogaWorks, an online yoga site with over 1,000 online yoga classes that you can stream from your laptop, tablet, phone or TV. They have classes that range from 5-minute tutorials to 90-minute full classes, and can suit yogis of all levels of experience from newbie to expert. You can also give a MyYogaWorks subscription as a gift! There are hundreds of classes to choose from and over 40 different teachers.
And if you join in the next week, you can get 1 year of access to MyYogaWorks for only $49! A local yoga studio can easily be $150 or more per month (not to mention the money spent on gas and cute yoga clothes), so it’s almost like you are getting 11 months of yoga classes for free! Just use the promo code YOGA49. The offer expires on December 31st, 2016, so be sure to sign up today!

Life is busy, and carving out time for self-care of our bodies and mind often doesn’t always happen, even with the best of intentions. Now you can work your body and relax your mind anywhere you may be on any day of the year, regardless of the length of your to-do list.
Thanks to MyYogaWorks for allowing me to try the site and for sponsoring this post to share this fantastic yoga self-care deal with my readers.
