As an ambassador for Aventura Clothing, I have had the great privilege of learning about their “brother” company, Ecōths. A like-minded socially responsible clothing brand, Ecōths is all about style, community, and goodness. My very lucky husband recently received a new shirt courtesy of Ecōths, and he already loves it as much as his previous items by the brand.
The name Ecōths (pronounced “Ecos”) is a combination of Eco and Ethos, the two words that define the brand. So it may come as no surprise that the culture of the brand is all about the “triple bottom line” of people, planet, and product.
People: For every Ecōths garment purchased in the United States, three meals will be provided to someone in need through their regional food bank. In 2014, they donated over 48,000 meals to food banks throughout the United States!
Planet: Ecōths uses primarily organic fibers, combining natural fabrics with a relaxed fit.
Product: Combining urban fashion elements with a rugged outdoor influence to create masculine yet comfortable styles.
Ecōths is currently available in select stores around the country. To find one near you, visit their store locator at http://ecoths.com/locator.html. You can also encourage a favorite store to carry Ecōths by sending them to http://ecothsb2b.com. A few of their pieces are currently available online (hopefully with more to follow) at http://www.zappos.com/ecoths.
Here are some shots of my favorite pieces from the current catalog:
Love the paisley in this Gulliver shirt.
That’s the Leland shirt on the left and the Garrett shirt on the right. The Garrett shirt in fossil is the one my husband has, and it is great looking!
The Garrick polo, the Talon polo, and the Carson shirt are all stylish options for the pattern averse.
Join the fight against hunger. And look good while doing it.
