SUCCESS magazine published an article in June where they used a combination of demographic an psychographic factors (there’s my inner research geek emerging) to determine the happiest places in the United States as well as a few of the unhappiest. Here are the top ten: Arlington (VA), Sioux Falls (SD), Madison (WI), Durham (NC), St. Paul/Minneapolis (MN), Boulder (CO), Overland Park, (KS), Stamford (CT), Austin (TX) and Lincoln (NE).
Now you want to know whose in the bottom of that list, right? Of course you do.! Have you taken any guesses yet? Here are the bottom five starting from the unhappiest city: Detroit, Miami, Las Vegas, Memphis and the good old city of brotherly love, Philadelphia.
