It starts the same way every year. First comes the warning of what lies ahead, which is met with a timely roll of the eyes. They know they are in for it, because life won’t be the same until it is over and done. Yes, it’s that time of year again. Time for the holiday photo.
Each year I try to get the photo myself first before I drag them to a photo studio. If all other attempts fail, to the studio we go.
In all fairness, I try to start early and provide fair warning but this is the time of year that my kids run away when they see me coming because they know I have a camera in hand. They know I am determined to get them to smile and look at the camera. With their eyes open. At the same time.
After I have finally gotten an acceptable photo, I usually get online and set out to find a photo card. Not this year. After the amazing experience I had a few weeks ago getting my business cards through Tiny Prints, I have already scoped out their holiday cards. These are my favorites for this year, just waiting for a photo to fill one of them:
This post has been compensated by Tiny Prints. I am a huge fan of Tiny Prints products and their customers service after placing a recent rush order with them and this post was written proudly on their behalf. All opinions, anecdotes and torturous photos of my children are my own.
