My mother always told me to never count anyone else’s money, and to never assume you know what is going on behind someone else’s closed doors. If you lined up every family living on your street, chances are that no two of them would have the same banking, saving, spending or budgeting habits. And no matter how buttoned up your financial habits may be, chances are that you could learn a thing or two from the people around you.
Next week, the Motherhood is hosting a one-hour Twitter chat, a conversation about spending and saving habits, bank relationships, products & services, budgets and more. The goal is simply to share behaviors and tips and to learn from others. (Of course, there is no need to provide any confidential financial or personal information. This is a general discussion.) Oh, and there will be prizes given out throughout the hour. So mark your calendars and set your alarms. Let’s talk banking.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 7th at 12:00 p.m. EST
WHERE: On Twitter! Join along at http://www.twtvite.com/letstalkbanking, or by using the hashtag #LetsTalkBanking.
