Go Back to Cool with GapKids

Yesterday I received my kids’ class assignments for the coming year, which means that it is time to print out the school supply lists and start getting ready for fall.  School supplies, clothes, and shoes are always on our shopping list for the new school year.

If you too are doing any back to school shopping this weekend, head on over to the GapKids in-store event near you. Gap clothing is a staple in my family, not just because they are durable and on trend, but also because of their commitment to social responsibility and the company’s strong efforts to give back.

Gap is offering free composition notebooks at Gap stores all across the country as we all get ready for back to school season.  Plus, this Saturday and next, if you purchase a pair of 1969 Premium Jeans you can get a second pair at 50% off! (Not too shabby, right?) Then, GapKids will customize the second pair for free!  The customization ideas were created by Cat Seto – creator of Ferme à Papier and co-author of Mom, Inc

I love that idea. Besides, what kid wouldn’t want a customized pair of jeans?
