Where to Buy Organic Flower Bouquets

Organic RosesSome of my recent posts have been on heavier matters, so I thought this might be the perfect time to lighten things up a bit.  After all, if you have visited this site before you probably know that I prefer brands that believe in social responsibility and occasionally bring those brands to your attention.

Now that spring is here (bringing with it Easter and Mother’s Day, of course) I want you to know about the eco-friendly, beautiful flowers and plants at Organic Bouquet.  Speaking of pretty flowers and Mother’s Day, dark purple flowers, white tulips and blue hydrangeas are my favorites. You know, just in case you were wondering….

Seriously, Organic Bouquet has a Flowers for Good™ program that donates a portion of the proceeds from to charity.  There are over 45 different charity bouquets available.  When you order a charitable bouquet, a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the charity affiliated with the item you selected.  Simply click here to see the charitable bouquets.

All of Organic Bouquet’s EcoBlooms products have multiple certifications, including one or more of the following:
  • VeriFlora® certified – grown with the least environmental impact.
  • Fair Trade Certified – guaranteeing that workers in developing nations receive fair wages and safe labor practices.
  • FlorVerde® certified – following stringent fair and safe workplace standards.
  • EcoCert – products that are deemed sustainable.
  • Rainforest Alliance Certified – protecting the environment, wildlife, workers and local communities.
  • Fair Labor Practices & Community Benefits™ Certified – compliance for safe and fair labor practices.
  • FlorEcuador® – grown using sustainable agriculture production and fair labor practices.
  • Transitional – produced by growers who are dedicated transitioning their farms to organic practices and sustainable farming techniques.

In addition to that, Organic Bouquet uses shipping materials and gift cards made from recycled and recyclable materials, and they are printed Purple Flowers from Organic Bouqueton with non-toxic water or soy based inks.

In addition to beautiful flowers you can purchase eco-friendly plants through Organic Bouquet.  Like other flower companies that have expanded their line to include gifts and gift baskets, Organic Bouquet has items for people seeking high quality gifts that care for the well-being of the planet and its people.

See why I am loving this company?  To check it out for yourself (or if you just happen to be ordering my Mother’s Day present) go to OrganicBouquet.com.

Happy Spring!

  1. I also have been more concerned with companies with a conscience and a purpose. And because I am in a skin care business, I have been doing some research and am appalled at the companies that still use animal testing! Are you serious? Other countries have banned animal testing, not us! La Mer, Aveeno, Avon, MAC—all still use animal testing!!!!!! Thank goodness my company doesn’t and had a mission that portions of proceeds go to setting up Salvation Army outposts. Doing well by doing good! Thanks for sharing the flowers;)

  2. Kill the Butcher and again you will receive at least 2 rares and maybe up to 5.
