This summer, Nestlé Juicy Juice and Feeding America have launched a program called the Fruit for All Project, an effort to help get 35 million pieces of fresh fruit into the hands of hungry children.
Food should be a right, not a privilege. Can you even imagine what it is like to not know how you are going to feed your child? More than one in five children in America is food insecure, meaning that over 16 million American children are at risk of hunger at this very moment. That simply should not happen. Sadly, the summer months represent an even greater risk for children in need because they do not have access to their school’s free or reduced-price lunch programs.
Between now and August 31, a piece of fruit will be provided to hungry kids and their families each time Juicy Juice is purchased. They have pledged to donate up to 35 million pieces of fruit to children in need.
Found the Marbles is all about showing you the many ways that you can pay it forward to others. So why not take some time today to earn even more fruit donations for those in need? Just log on to FruitforAllProject.com or go to Juicy Juice’s Facebook page to complete challenges like games, quizzes and puzzles and help these children.
